In this sketch, I tried to draw mini while on the move. Rather than having a still and moveless sketch, I prefer adding movement for more realistic and complete effect. While sketching mini, I realised that they usually kept cube-like front parts and circle characteristic lights. The roof is usually higher than the front and has that strong transition nearly 90 degrees.
I always carried a small sketchbook with me so I was able to take notes about my tasks but also sketch more minis to understand their design more. Wheel holes are more circular and close to each other because of the size of the car.
I also realized that there were lots and lots of designer minis and stylized ones for everyone. My favourite ones are the ones with stickers and numbers on them for now.
If we look at more futuristic minis or at least the ones closer to our present day, we can see the differences in the headlight and general design but I think the way they kept the classic design with general framing and skeleton, added even more sympathy to these cars. The cube-like skeleton remains as classic for this car in many models.
