Mind map about Greenpeace and game idea notes

In the presentation, I took notes aboy the Greenpeace and the main problems that I can use while developing ideas about the game.


First thing came up to my mind was making a game where we see a change and difference in the environment along the game and by the further levels.



I was planning to use historical factors and changes with the same year gaps for the consistent game experience.


Presentation was about the climate change and the impacts on humans, animals and nature and how we can fix it.



the idea of fossil fuels, deforestation and polution were the most important looking ones to me.







First idea was the "Echo" wich is a game about the farmer guy who is actually a really cam person, finds himself in the complex situation where he needs to fight but also still gets that farmer mechanics to heal the nature. My refferances were the fallout and stardew valley. Theme was more about futuristic and technologic. Enemies were supposed to be the mutant biology wich got effected by the fossil fuels and chemicals thrown into nature by humans.


Other idea was a game which is more fantastic and fairytale like world. It was a more magical world with elemental knights fighting for their home, forest.






I was stuck between these two ideas mainly but there was another idea...


In the further development of my first idea, I was planning to chase that empathy from the gamers with the orphan kid who is young but really brave and ready to fight and a calm grown up guy who knows well about being peaceful.


I was planning to make them learn different points from eachother. For a better story development, I planned to add "Eco" who is a robotic, cyborg woman who wonders about being human.


With the idea of learning how to be human and family all together while fighting for the nature was looking like a good plan.

In that time, I found the refferances like Fallot, The Creator Futures Past, Horizon Zero Dawn, East Ward, Death Stranding, Last Of Us.

With a further thinking on it, I decided to talk with my friends wholikes playing these kinds of games. They said that It would be really interesting to play a game with cute features but still having that creepy environmnt. They also decided that it would be even more better if it is a loneley and creepy journey played as a young girl by herself in the big world.
