Combining the layers of a digital storyboard and importing them into After Effects, I finished my project's first steps with this animatic.
Just like in my storyboard, I wanted to keep the sketch style, so I used hatching (which is my favorite style to use).
I also wanted to animate the environment, not only one object. I also wanted to keep it simple since it is an animatic.
I carefully separated the layers than imported them in to After Effects.
After creating my master composition, I separated my scenes under pre compositions, dragged them and imported them under master composition to have one big video.
In the end, in Master Composition, I had this kind of order. These yellow shapes represent my scenes.
without any sound, it looks like this. After exporting this, my job at After Effects was done.
To add some sound, I used Premier Pro.
the files we saw on the left are my sound files. I mainly recorded them myself with my iPhone and imported them into Premier Pro. I wanted to keep a '60s kind of music style as the base for having that collective feeling. I also added other sounds to it.
After exporting my final video as "media" order, my project was done.
