ENVIRONMENT: cave, maze
MECHANICS: walk, jump
GOAL: navigate through the maze without dying and help your partner.
In the game, we will play as two, who need each other according to navigate through the maps and levels. The game starts in a cave, we will finish every game by entering our element doors.
I used them to develop the tutorial-level cave idea and element powers in the first idea development part.
2. CUP HEAD

ENVIRONMENT: a cartoony world with vibrant colours
MECHANICS: walk, crouch, shoot, jump, double jump
GOAL: get through the levels by fighting with the bosses.
Again we will play as two and help each other, The Environment is like a 60s cartoon and we see white big iconic gloves. I used this game mainly for the animation's reference.
3. KIRBY

ENVIRONMENT: colourful, cute and pixel environment
MECHANICS: jump, walk, eat the enemies and gain their powers, fly, crouch,
GOAL: get through the maps and fight with bosses.
In the game, we will play as individuals or with our friends. It is again a parkour-based game, we will fight with enemies and navigate through levels.
Environment of the game and general theme is one of my refferances.
Comments
